She studied with esteemed spiritual and psychological teachers, participated in transformative retreats, and completed a seven-year retreat in Hawaii focusing on the Eightfold Path lifestyle, with hours of meditation, and study. As an accomplished author, Josette has published six eBooks and six print books, including the Mom’s Choice Award-winning Grow Together: Parenting as a Path to Well-Being, Wisdom, and Joy. Alongside her husband, Ba Luvmour, she co-developed the Natural Learning Relationships model, a whole-child understanding of child-development that has been widely applied in seminars, schools and in experiential learning programs since the 1980s. Together, they have integrated this consciousness-based approach with fieldwork to reintroduce meaningful Rites of Passage in modern contexts.

Josette creates welcoming and transformative learning environments that foster personal growth, family bonds and development, and holistic well-being. She shares her insights through teaching, consulting, writing, and mentoring students. Based in Portland, Oregon, she and Ba continue to inspire learners on the spiritual journey and human development.

Her warm, inviting approach makes her a trusted guide for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of child development, education, and the spiritual journey.
